Sebelumnya Media Outlet Hong Kong memberitakan bahwa YoonA & Taeyeon Girls' Generation Mabuk-Mabukan di sebuah klub terkenal di Hongkong. Sahabat Hyoyeon, Tyler Kwon membantah klaim menyebutkan kedua gadis itu adalah saudara sepupunya dan temannya.
SM Entertainment akhirnya membuat pernyataan sendiri atas situasi .Mereka menyebutkan "Ini semua tidak benar dan orang yang ada dalam foto bukan Girls' Generation.
SM Entertainment juga menyatakan "Kami sedang menyelidiki mengapa artikel tidak berdasarkan dan tidak masuk akal ini menjadi laporan media saat promosi Hong Kong ditulis ketika itu tidak benar ... Bahkan pers Hong Kong mendapat perasaan itu adalah laporan yang benar dari gosip media. "
