Pada malam 17 Oktober 2011 Festival Film Daejong ke-48 dibuka di Sejong Center for the Performing Arts di Gwanghwamun, Seoul.Festival Film Daejong ke 48 akan disiarkan di KBS di 07:40 AM pada 17 Oktober 2011.

Beberapa bintang film terkenal menghadiri acara Red Carpet yang glamor & mewah tersebut.
