Taeyeon will be singing for the film Mr. Go with her beautiful voice.
The title of her OST track for the film is Bye. It was written by music director Lee Jae Hak, who previously wrote masterpiece OSTs such as Kim Ah Joong′s Maria of 200 Pounds Beauty and Loveholics′ Butterfly of Take Off.
Taeyeon previously scored many hits with her OST pieces, as she sang for Hong Gil Dong, Beethoven Virus, Athena: Goddess of War, The King 2Hearts and That Winter, the Wind Blows. This time she will be trying her hand at becoming the OST queen of the big screen.
Taeyeon commented, "I′ve always wanted to sing for director Kim Yong Hwa′s films because the songs for 200 Pounds Beauty and Take Off, as well as their overall quality, were so good. I′m looking forward to hearing my song on the big screen with Mr. Go."
Bye will have a Korean version and a Chinese version.
Mr. Go is about how a gorilla and his 15-year-old manager become popular through baseball. It is based on Heo Young Man′s 1985 comic Team 7.
It will premiere on July 17.
