Jonghyun sendiri memang langsung jadi sorotan ketika mengunggah foto papan tulis berisi tulisan milik Kang Eun Ha. Kini tulisan Kang Eun Ha tersebut memicu gerakan yang mengajak orang bertanya "How are you?" pada sekitarnya.

Recently, a student attending Korea University started to put hand-written posters around the university, criticizing the social conditions under a movement called 'How Are You.' Some of the things the movement addressed were the current privatization of railroads that is going on in South Korea and discrimination against sexual preferences.  It is currently creating a large social sensation with the college students in the center of it all. However, it is continuously growing, even expanding to high school students who are willing to take part in the movement.

SHINee's Jonghyun left an encouraging message to one of the first people who started spreading these posters about the movement.  He tweeted, "As a celebrity who deals with the public, I feel a sense of loss in a world that does not acknowledge changes."

In addition, Jonghyun changed his Twitter profile picture on December 14 to a picture of a poster that said "I am not okay," which is the reply message to the movement's name 'How Are You.'

2PM's Chansung also tweeted on December 15, "It is dangerous I tell you, dangerous. That is why I am not okay," also sharing his own thoughts.

However, it appears SHINee World, the group's fan club, and Ilbe (web portal with far right views) are feeling some friction between each other.  It appears that after Ilbe members saw Jonghyun's Twitter picture, they joined SHINee World as members and started to leave comments greatly criticizing the singer.  Eventually, SHINee World wrote a cautionary message to the Ilbe members for their actions
