SM C & C Jelaskan Alasan Yoona Terpilih sebagai Pemeran Utama Wanita 'Prime Minister and I'

 

Perwakilan dari SM C&C yaitu Jung Chang Hwan turut menghadiri acara prescon drama Prime Minister And I pada 6 Desember kemarin. Di acara tersebut Jung Chang Hwan mengungkapkan alasan mengapa Yoona Girls Generation mendapat peran utama di drama baru ini.

"Kami tidak melakukan casting untuk artis di bawah naungan SM Entertainment karena SM C&C yang memproduksi drama ini... Pemikiran tentang Prime Minister And I inilah yang ingin kuubah," ungkap Jung Chang Hwan.

Menurut sang perwakilan SM C&, Yoona SNSD mendapat peran utama wanita dalam drama produksi SM C&C ini bukan semata-mata karena dia adalah artis SM Entertainment. Dalam drama sebelumnya Yoona memerankan gadis pendiam dan tenang, karena itu kami berharap Yoona Girls Generation akan lebih menunjukkan seperti apa dirinya.

Alasan seperti inilah yang membuat SM C&C memilih yoona sebagai pemeran utama dalam Prime Minister And I. Perwakilan SM C&C ini juga berharap drama yang tayang pada Senin dan Selasa di KBS ini dapat memenuhi ekspektasi para pemirsa.




Jung Chang Hwan of SM C&C attended a press conference on December 6 to talk about the agency's upcoming drama 'Prime Minister and I,' starring Girls' Generation's YoonA.  He talked about the label of 'SM Drama' and explained why the idol singer was chosen to act as Nam Da Jung.

He said:

    "We did not cast actors signed under SM Entertainment because SM C&C is producing this drama . . . We want to get rid of these assessments with 'Prime Minister and I.'

    YoonA was not cast as Nam Da Jung because she was an actress signed under SM, but rather that the YoonA we saw since youth happened to match the character the best . . . We wish people would not think an SM actress came out because it was an SM drama.

    In the past, YoonA had done mature roles despite her age and often acted as calm and nice characters; we are looking forward to this drama because we think she will show her true personality the most in it . . . As Nam Da Jung is a character who shows her true colors better than anybody else, the casting was decided as such.

    Our drama is being created overall with a healing effect . . . In the early phase, it can be watched as a sweet romantic comedy, but in the later phase, it will become more and more family-oriented.  We hope for a lot of expectations so that we could develop the drama into one that heals the viewers."
