Bukan rahasia Jackie Chan memiliki anak dari hasil hubungan luar nikah.
Tahun 1999, lahir seorang bayi yang kemudian diberi nama Etta, putri Jackie dari Elaine Ng, peraih gelar Miss Asia 1990. Kala itu Jackie mengaku berselingkuh dengan Elaine dan membenarkan Etta darah dagingnya. Namun, Jackie memutuskan hubungan dengan Elaine dan Etta. Muncul kabar Jackie sempat mengirimkan uang pada Elaine untuk biaya hidup. Tapi Jackie disebut tidak pernah bertemu atau berkomunikasi dengan Etta, putrinya yang kini berusia 14 tahun.
Pada konferensi pers film barunya, Police Story 2013, Jackie berperan sebagai polisi yang tak terlalu dekat dengan putrinya. Jackie merasa cerita film tersebut sekilas mirip kisah hidupnya.
"Cerita film ini mengena bagiku. Apalagi saat adegan menangis. Aku sungguh-sungguh menangis karena aku teringat pada Etta. Aku sudah menelantarkannya dalam waktu yang sangat lama," ujar Jackie
"Aku juga ingin bilang pada Jaycee (putra Jackie dari istri sah) bahwa aku tidak menjalani kehidupan pesta pora ketika syuting di Amerika Serikat. Aku benar-benar bekerja keras!" tuturnya.
Meski sampai saat ini belum menyentuh dunia hiburan, Etta yang beranjak remaja kerap menjadi incaran paparazi Hong Kong.Etta Ng ( alias Xiao Long Nu ) sekarang 14 tahun dan hidup hanya dengan ibunya , Elaine Ng .

Following the recent verbal embroilment where Jackie Chan was criticised for 'wanting to see natural disasters happening in some countries', the Hong Kong stuntman made headlines again, this time over his illegitimate daughter.
Speaking at the Police Story 2013 movie press conference which the star starred in, the 59-year-old said he felt for his daughter, Etta Ng, as the plot similarly talked about a busy father neglecting his daughter.
'The story struck a chord in me, especially during the crying scenes. I teared naturally because I was reminded of my Xiao Long Nu (the nickname given to his daughter by the media). I have neglected her for the longest time.'
This came as a rare moment of truth as Jackie has always dodged questions relating to this illegitimate daughter, and even once said his 'infidelity is a mistake all men make'.
The Hong Kong star also seized the chance to direct some feelings he had for his son, Jaycee Chan, adding: 'I wish to tell Jaycee that I wasn't leading a life of debauchery back in those days when I was filming in the US. I was in fact working hard!'
